Using CommercialTribe in IE11 requires a plugin to be downloaded. When you go to record, either by practicing an activity or recording net new content, you will follow these steps:
1. CommercialTribe will notify you that a plugin needs to be installed in order to use the recorder
2. Click the checkbox and select the “Download plugin” button.
3. This will prompt your computer to download the plugin. Click the “Run” button to begin installation. NOTE: The screen may change to show a refresh browser button during installation. Clicking this button before the plugin is downloaded will prompt the user again. Once the install windows are gone, you can click the “Refresh browser” button.
4. When the page is refreshed, a new screen will appear asking permission to share your camera & microphone with www.commercialtribe.com. You will also be able to choose what camera and microphone you'd like to use. Click Yes, allow access.
This will load the recorder and now you will be able to record in CommercialTribe.
My recorder still does not seem to be working properly - what should I do?
If you are experiencing issues with getting the plugin to work, the first step is to make sure it has been installed properly on your machine. Click on the cog icon in the upper right corner and select “Manage add-ons”.
There should a section titled Tokbox that lists two items that should both be enabled. Note: If you do not see this at first, make sure in the lower left you have selected to show all ad-ons.
